I'm also trying to keep my hopes and expectations lowered. I think there pretty much has to be a real moment between Sam & Kara before the end to justify this entire storyline for both of them. MT recently said on Bear's blog that the over-arching truth of his character is Sam's love for Kara Thrace. I hope that we get to see that.
