Observations on Yuletide so far

1. Once Upon a Time hit fandom really, really HARD. It's huuuuuuge.

2. I'm sad that this will be the first Yuletide I've participated in where I couldn't write something for Jeremiah. Maybe I'll write something anyway, just cuz.

3. I'm sad to see China Beach with no offers. But I assume a lot of people are in my boat -- I have fond memories of it, but I haven't actually watched it in a very long time.

4. There's a couple of rare-ish sources I could offer and might be fun, but my knowledge is limited so I really need to see the requests to know if I could do them. Of course those are the people that don't have letters at the collection post.

5. Remember, the more characters you request, the less likely a match becomes.

HEEEE! My own Yuletide letter just popped up on one of my google alerts. *snicker*

And now the wait begins for assignments! ohpleaseohpleaseohplease... except I don't know what to hope for.

Today we went to see 'Happy Feet Two', which was cute if a bit all over the place. Kidlet enjoyed it (he's obsessed with talking animals though, so his rec is not necessarily for all, *g*). I thought P!ink did an excellent job taking over for Brittany Murphy as Gloria. But Brad Pitt had become George Clooney; they sound exactly alike.

(though it got killed at the box office by Breaking Dawn... lol. There were only about twenty others in the theater with us)
