My goodness, the last scene (to write, not in order, because we all know I don't do that) is being difficult. Point A please to proceed to Point B. NOW. *throttles fic*

I have a story idea for my [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo prompt table. It is, of course, the werewolf one! And I think I'll write it for Jeremiah. I missed my annual fic at Yuletide for that fandom, and I was thinking it would fit in pretty well. I thought of SG-1 and realized it'd be exactly the same story as my "Hiding in Starlight" which is a Furling (*cough* vampire *cough*) bereft of his kind, so.... why not make Thunder Mountain a pack of werewolves?

Clearly too many crack crossovers and wingfic and the like has poisoned my brain.

I am off to watch kidlet's demonstration of his Lightsaber Class. It's like fencing for the small ones, and very cute!

I have certain words that tend to grow like fungus in my fic - I TRY not to use them and yet they all still appear anyway. And now that I have two longish fics getting near I thought I'd look for some useful tools to finding them. And I did!

This only works if you already know your particular hobby horse overused words. But if you know you do it and you know what they are, it's quite striking.

Tips for finding all uses of particular words in MS Word simultaneously and with COLOR! )

This has been a PSA brought to you by the Committee to Stop Using Weasel Words that Undercut Your Fic.
