home again, home again

Reading D*C posts is making me all verklempt, until I realized I was on vacation for two weeks and really, I should STFU. But still, I want to go. *pout*

I was hoping to come home to cooler temperatures. Yeah, nice try with that. It's so... stuffy. Not super hot, but there is zero breeze, and just enough smoke in the air from the wildfire to make the air sit there and be gross. (pretty sunsets though) The time change back is really throwing kidlet off badly, too, and my usually good child is being a total and utter brat tonight. School can't start soon enough (sorry, teachers! *g*)

I've done and seen pretty much nothing fannish lately, in terms of t.v. or whatever. I'm three eps behind in True Blood, just to start with (and I even took one with me and didn't watch it). did, however, get a little too involved in the Korean soap opera City Hall. um, oops? Damn that stuff is worse than crack. Thank goodness it ended (it's more telenovela than american soap, so there are end points).

I did skim most of my flist while I was gone, so I'm not totally behind. Except on my BSG Big Bang which needs some WORDS. Now that I've plotted the hell out of it, it would be nice to just write some more damn words on it.
