When fics attack

Before the BSG stuff later, I just want to bitch whine about my Gate fic. I think I've mentioned that I got whammed in the face by this Sam/Barrett ficlet idea. Right. Well, the law of unintended consequences has sort of struck with a vengeance.

Does anybody else totally fall in love with the ship they happen to be writing at the time? Because before, while I didn't mind the pairing and I thought it was kind of cute in canon, I didn't really get into it. And now, it's THE BEST PAIRING EVER OMG!!!!

Yes, I'm sure fandom is just DYING for an epic Sam/Barrett romance through all of S.10 and SGA S.4.
