Saturday was kidlet's big birthday bash. It was a grand success -- twenty four-year-olds running around in an indoor playground like complete hooligans.
The best story is this one:

yesterday and today we got the tree and decorations out and put most of them up. It looks lovely - I always forget how much homier it makes the house look, especially this year when we still don't have anything on the walls.
I finally got an album binder for all my con photos and autographs - for all the money I spent getting them, I should probably keep them better than in a pile on the table, dontcha think? Yeah, me too. Man, I'd forgotten how awesome my photo with JR was from last year. I've got to get him to sign it someday.
*sigh*
Back to yuletide fic. 2000 words in, at least three times that to go. They're not even married yet, woe. But no chickening out like I did last year, because I have NO other story idea (and certainly not one shorter than this one).
