yay!

I received my BSG S.2 box set! The shrink-wrapped 2.0 and 2.5, that is. I refused to buy the individual boxes, because duh, they were totally going to do some kind of combined box eventually, and while I'm a crazy, free-spending fangirl, I'm not THAT free with my money. Besides, I have all of them anyway -- Skiffy watermark and all. ahem. Three guesses which ep went in first, and the first two don't count. *g*

Too bad I couldn't make the All-Access event thingy last night, it sounds pretty fun. The best line from there I've heard is RDM talking about how the RTF is going to Earth, because it's in the opening credits. And Eick snarks, "In the credits the Cylons have a plan too." hee! LOVE that. (and the implication that Bulldog is never coming back -- which is kind of sad, since I was on board with the Bulldog is the Final Cylon theory for about a day.)

And completely random:
I'm watching a preview on John from Cincinnati which is a show coming up on HBO, from David Milch (Deadwood). And they show Bobby from Supernatural. Which isn't that weird, since Jim Beaver was in Deadwood too. Except the character he's playing on this new show looks exactly like Bobby, down to the hat. When I first looked up and saw him, it took me awhile to figure out I was not actually watching a Behind the Scenes for Supernatural and I should stop expecting Jensen Ackles or Jared Padalecki to appear. Head trip!

*sigh* I'd rather have another season of Deadwood, HBO. But at least Timothy Olyphant is now free to go play a bad guy in the Die Hard movie. I hope he's awesome. He certainly has the ability, if the script at all gives him a chance.
