Five hours of set up later, I HAZ BOOK FAIR! YAY.

Now all I have to do is work it next week.

*collapses*

(for those of you not Americans/teachers/parents/don't remember your school book fair - Scholastic publishing company brings carts and stock to schools to sell books and related stuff. The school gets a percentage of the sales. So we set up the tables, decorate, and put the books from the boxes onto the tables. )

I need a drink.

I remember those! Fun! Do they still send out the monthly flyers where you can order books from? I got many books that way when I was in elementary school. :)

The school I work in had its book fair this week. The books were on huge metal trolleys. All the parents manning it had to do was flip down the lid, open the doors and there they were. When not needed they sat closed up in the dining hall.

I just plunked down $40 in books for kiddo and his classroom at our book fair! It's a small one though, as it has to fit in the lobby of the day care center.
