Did I not comment on this before? ::headdesks at self:: This story is just so beautiful and redemptive. Sam gets his 'singular moment of clarity' and Leoben wasn't so wrong about his destiny after all. There's so much below the surface here, all the myth and all the history of violence and Leoben's constant willingness to love even when it's inappropriate. I also very much like what you've done with the implied Christ imagery of the Cylons dying and coming back for love...I am also thinking about how to use that in an upcoming fic.
