I've probably mentioned it before, but my house is quite small, and so I have a whole lotta STUFF in my garage. Much of it books (when the library/study/spare room became the baby's room and the library was exiled), baby stuff kept for Still Imaginary Baby #2, random collectibles (because hubby and I are both toy and former comics collectors, unfortunately of different things though), and discs, both DVDs and music CDs. Of which there are many. I went looking for one particular compilation CD. BIG mistake. HUGE. Needle in a frakkin haystack. I still haven't found it, even though I know we have it someplace. *grumps*
Speaking of music, I'm listening to Harry Gregson-Williams' score for Prince Caspian. I like it better than what he did for the first movie. It's still not as awesome as his music for Kingdom of Heaven which is one of my most favorite ever, but it's good. The tracks are long which is especially nice.
Listening to epic film music is probably giving me delusions of epic ness on the Plot Kraken Fic, but damn, there's a scene in there that SHOULD have its own sweeping theme with full orchestra and choir. I wish! I feel a bit strange saying that it excites me so much (because y'know, it could just be me; everyone else might find it lame), but yes. It does. I only hope it translates out of my head...
