Fic update

Well, I "officially" put my first fic for sg_rarepairings on hiatus, and started a new thing. I just couldn't get through the logistical nightmare that read so simply in my notes as "and then the Ori attack."

Yeah.

Maybe once I figure that out, I can finish it, because I still like my story idea and the pairing as well. Even if it would turn novella length, probably, knowing me and the action plots.

So Fic #2 is much smaller in scope and eminently more do-able. Especially being on a deadline. I'm kind of sad that I had to wimp out, but better fic than no fic, right?

But still, I'm feeling the same fannish malaise infecting so many of us. What's up with that?
It can't help that my two main shows are either canceled or on the World's Longest Frakkin' Hiatus, I'm sure, but still, there's new Atlantis, other new shows made of fun, and I have no lack of DVDs to watch. hmpf.

YAY! That should help.

And yes, I'm sure the con will help immensely to get me ... recharged or whatever. But if I don't finish something for the rarepair challenge before that, havocthecat is gonna poke me with hot pokey things.... *g*

There is always Flash Gorden (which is getting better), and Eureka. Plus Journey man dosn't look that bad.
