OMG less than a week!

oh, internet connection, how I missed you last night! At first it was painfully slow, and then... poof! To add insult to injury, the wireless status kept coming up to tell me that the connection to my WiFi was "excellent." Yes, but past the router, there is NOTHING but an echoing void, stupid computer!

Tonight - Heroes is back! And I'll probably try Journeyman, since my love for Kevin McKidd is immense, post-ROME. And maybe Chuck, if Rugrat will let me watch even half (sadly, bedtime usually conflicts with 8 pm shows, so I miss almost all of them).

We leave for vacation on Saturday ... and I have so much to do!



1. Buy portable DVD player to keep Rugrat entertained on flight.
1a. NOT buy portable DVD player tomorrow when Halo 3 comes out, because I'm not quite that masochistic.

2. Write Finish first draft of reel_sg1 fic.

3. Write checks like crazy, for lo, we will be gone the first of the month and bills are due. :(

4. Get mail, hold mail/newspaper, eat up refrigerator, pack, etc.

5. Track incoming packages.

6. Inform builders that we'll be gone and they'll have to muddle along for a week without me.

7. Not be as pathetically pallid, maybe. If weather cooperates. Otherwise I get to be Shark Bait again, and not in the adorable Nemo way.

8. Watch some t.v. somewhere in there!

9. Buy b'day cards and presents for at least two people. eek.

10. More which will probably occur to me later, when I'm not thinking of all the things I have to do.



Time to go do at least some of it...
