Yes, all you people who live in places where it like flooded and stuff, can NOT understand the sheer joy 'round these parts that it actually RAINED! It was even - gasp! - a storm, with lightning and thunder and wind too. We lost power and cable for a bit last night and when it came back, decided we'd better unplug the computers just in case. When lightning HIT our backyard.
Damn, that was loud.
Of course, our not-quite-built deck is a giant mudpuddle at the moment, but I'll take it.
Water falling from the sky! It was awesome...
And now I'm off to visit a friend's new baby, finally. I expect the drive to be hell, since people who haven't driven on wet roads for six months don't know what the hell to do...
