Fun things

A few days ago, Kidlet insisted on making a little stop-motion animation of some LEGO toys he'd made. He'd watched me make that little Wall-E vid I put up awhile back and we'd seen some things on t.v. about the making of Fantastic MrFox so he really, REALLY wanted to try it. So I helped set it up, but he took the pictures and made the little motions. I then put it in Movie Maker to make a "movie".

Short, and no sound.

Also in the fun imagery department, I uploaded our jack o lanterns from Halloween. An Alien, A Ghost and ... an airship walk into a bar....

MrLiz's carving from a commercial pattern.

My carving of the xenomorph, based on the image in the Alien Versus Predator movie. (it needed more detail, but I ran out of time)

And from his own design, Kiddo's image of a cargo airship. You may need to click it bigger, since it's hard to see. The fins are on the left, and the gondola is in the bottom right (the boxy things are the cargo containers hanging down). The bright light on the top right is the sun shining on it. Yes, he wanted it to have a sun highlight all on his lonesome.

Sad, when my six year old has a better pumpkin than I do. *G*

Awesome!!!

Both the little movie and the pumpkins.
My sister made a stop motion animation once about how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It was rather awesome!

Heeee, that animation is awesome! He did such a good job with the going back and taking the picture from (almost) exactly the same spot every time, I am impressed, and do not believe I would be able to do that as well, haha.

the camera's on a chair, so all he had to do was press the button and mostly managed to keep it still!
