It's Stargate Fanawards time. Which, hell, I'll be honest -- it's always exciting to be nominated. So YAY!

I'm especially stunned by the nomination for "A Strange Alien Allure", my wee pinch-hit Jonas/Cameron fic. I had no idea anyone even remembered it, so thank you, mystery nominator. (nominator? that doesn't look right...) I know which corner of fandom the rest of the noms originated in, so *smooch* to my Tok'ra peeps, even if we are totally gonna get buried again this year.

The totally-out-of-left-field nomination encourages me to sign up for the rarepair ficathon again, but... no. I will restrain myself. Ficathons are fun, but I only have so much time to write and I have projects I've been sitting on for more than a year that I need to finish.

and completely random, I just saw the ad for upcoming show "Big Shots." The show looks iffy, but Michael Vartan is still hot.

Big Shots is also where Paul Blackthorne ended up. And he is most definitely hot.

there are four main characters in Big Shot. Paul's character is the one they're trying to emulate. It's a recurring role.... but at least he's employed... after they canceled DRESDEEEENNN
