Because LJ is being a pain (though DW is loading excessively slowly for me, too, so it's not acting flawlessly either), I thought I'd test the crossposter again.

I have heard from some saying that their LJ OpenID doesn't work when it can't contact LJ - and so they could not login with it.

ah, good point about OpenId, though you can also use other accounts than LJ thankfully. But the crosspost never went through anyway, so I posted on LJ separately. I've tenaciously managed to hold onto access somehow; it's slow and occasionally I have to refresh, but I must be on the 'good' server or something. *shrug*

I don't think I'll run out of DW invites (especially since the people most in need of them probably can't even see my LJ post!), but if I have a sudden flood, I'll send them your way. :)
