Not a total slacker...

I finished the first ficathon entry today! yay! Now to polish it up and send it off to emergency beta, with -- ta da! -- two days to spare. Go, ME! I hope it's good, but right now I'm in that phase where I'm so lost in the forest of the story, I have not the faintest idea whether it sucks like a sucky thing, or is okay. I hope the recipient enjoys it anyway. *crosses fingers* But since there's a long wait until the stories go up and the reveal and such, I won't know for a long time. I'm just going to pretend the story doesn't even exist for a couple weeks.

Deadlines make me all panicky, but they're pretty wonderful for cutting down on the slacking off and endless distraction by the shiny.

One project down, three to go.
