Skiffy still making me laugh after all these years

It gives me a chuckle to imagine the panicked horror at SyFy HQ when that Blood and Chrome trailer leaked all over the internet yesterday. "Oh no! People might think we're actually still doing sci-fi! Let's rush out and correct that ASAP!"

*sigh*

y'know, in hindsight, when they rebranded SciFi they should've just dropped the sci-fi-ish ref all together and called it "OKTV" or something. But in any case, I don't believe this mythical webseries will ever actually appear, nor am I sure I want it to anyway, but I would like to see the movie at some point.

In writing news I have reached the climactic giant battle. I think I do these all right when they're done, but wow are they brain intensive to try to figure out where everyone is and what they're doing.

dude has a little league game tonight. Ironic that we skipped a week of games while the weather was beautiful, and today we're back to cool fog and chill breeze. brr.

The audience has hope! They're beginning to think that maybe we aren't as terrible at running the network as they thought! We might actually look good! We can't have that!

I'm quite fond of OKTV It's so perfectly descriptive. lol

Plus OKTV would make awesome logos and fit nicely in the box of the onscreen channel guide! It's a win-win! *giggle*

Since they changed name to Syfy I feel that the name perfectly describes what I feel about most of their programming as in Polish (my language) syfy means crap (plus several similarly unpleasant things (http://ellestra.livejournal.com/101419.html)). This also means I feel pleasantly surprised when they show something watchable as I see Syfy and think "hey, it's not total crap after all". :P
