- I have proof that if your fic gets linked on an LJ/blog with several thousand readers, you will, in fact, suddenly get more hits than you know what to do with. *blinks* Sudden resurgence of serial killer fanfic for the win!

- They also released the first photo of Anne Hathaway's Catwoman for The Dark Knight Rises, which was cleverly selected to be as unrevealing as possible. lol. (set pics also "leaked" today show the suit better) Actually, the pics of Marion Cotillard from last week were way more revealing, I thought.






(though seriously, media sites and lame commentators? That's so obviously the Batpod, get a frakking clue, which I knew even before I saw this:)

heh, poor Bruce - Talia steals/crashes/attacks the replacement tumblr and Selina steals the Batpod? Bruce and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day. ANd that's BEFORE Bane. I hope Bane happens early on, cuz seriously if that's the end of the movie? Me and Nolan gonna have words. Beginning with YOUR TITLE IS TOTALLY WRONG - That is Knight FALL - not RISES.



- OH, and just because two tidbits seem too short: Akinator came up with Patrick Bateman on the first try, based on badness, wealthy, office work, and sort of a comedy. It didn't even need to link novel or killing humans in there. heh.

Goooood Anne looks good, especially in the unofficial candids (posted over at ONTD). I don't know why everyone is hating on her! Marion looks gorgeous, too. Really loving the potential female presence in this movie! Isn't someone else in it, too? A blonde actress? Naomi or Diane? I should just IMDB it.

Huh, I must've been thinking of when there were still casting rumors, doesn't seem like any other big-name actress else is really attached to the movie. STILL, ANNE AND MARION.

I just give all the Anne haters a glare, cuz really? She can act and getting on her case, esp for the Oscars when she was the only one trying to keep that thing afloat, is really unfair. (at least some people have pointed out how half the internet was like "Heath Ledger the Joker, srsly?" at one time, so let's give Nolan a bit of slack, eh? )

I'm unreasonably excited for probable-Talia (my spouse is the ENORMOUS Catwoman fan in the family - I like her better in her own series than as a Bat-adjunct), though in truth, I'm first and foremost a Batman fan, so as long as the story serves the mythos as well as it has so far, I'll be pleased.

ALL OF THAT, SERIOUSLY. Anne is going to be fine. Even if you don't think she's the best Catwoman in the world, SHE IS AT LEAST GOING TO BE OKAY. She is a very capable actress, a beautiful woman, and has a talented team working with her, IT ISN'T GOING TO GO BADLY.
