You see that shuttle that went up? yeah, that's the one that they're going to park in MY BACKYARD. BOOO YAH. though now I will suffer through the Science Center's donations campaign so it's not unmixed. I seriously can't wait until they have to bring it downtown because I have no clue how that's going to happen- so many narrow streets, power lines, and our brand-spanking new Expo light rail line. But it'll be like the torch relay as people come out to watch, I"m sure. VERY EXCITING

Since it's upfront season - here's what look promising for new fall shows to me so far:
- Ringer, cool cast, premise. SOLD.
- Terra Nova. dinosaurs. SOLD. (assuming it actually airs)
- Person Of Interest. Ben Linus and Jesus Fight Crime. SOLD
- Awake. Jason Isaacs. cool trailer. SOLD.
- Secret Circle. hm. maybe? if I can forget about LJ Smith. And if KW can figure out a magical system rather than the random plot device shit they do on TVD
- grimm. maybe? Right now I resent it for taking 17th Precinct's slot, but I may get over that.

Gah! I need to actually WATCH FAIRLY LEGAL so that I can join the comm and write. *frown eyes* It never aired in Canada... so I'm WAY behind. I have purchased the pilot and nothing else. *frustrated scowl* Oh my.

It aired on Showcase in Canada, and ran about two wks behind, IIRC,

But yes, you should watch- Sarah and MT are really fun together. There's only ten eps.

No showcase with my cable provider, but I've purchased the pilot and may just have to buy the rest. Hmm... when is this ficathon going?

it's not an exchange or anything that formal - there's a bag of prompts and people can pick from and write stuff. Comment fic to vids, it's all good. No deadline The show won't even air S.2 until, at minimum January, and possibly not til summer so, it's a looooooong hiatus.

I'm trying to encourage more of a fandom - with indifferent success, most of the time. :(

Heh, I still need to read all the summaries. Still undecided about Secret Circle. I actually read those books, so I now know something of the minds of the Vampire Diaries book-purist complainers, and also, I can't seem to deal with the conflagration of TV!John Connor and Adam. IT'S JUST WRONG.

hmm, Fairly Legal fic....can't promise it wouldn't be terrible...when does it end?

yeah, They're going to have to sell me pretty hard for SecretCircle - I am not impressed by how TVD (book or show) handles magic, so I HAS CONCERNS.

technically no end date on the FL promptathon. I just want MORE FIC. it is so sad how there is like none. :(

Yeah, and judging from the cast/character list, there's not going to be any solid antagonists, and this show...needs that...there's a LOT less opportunity for different viewpoints or motivations about stuff here than in The Vampire Diaries.

Aww. Well, if there's no deadline that makes it much more likely that I will write something. I hate deadlines.
