Somehow lyssie unearthed five icons of mine which are not Michael Trucco. This isn't as easy as you might think! (Most of them have specific purposes, to illustrate certain stories. really. *looks shifty*)


1.
Lisa Braeden (Cindy Sampson), from Supernatural
Because Lisa is fabulous. She's smart and loving, she's a single mom of Ben. She's accepting, and helps keep a pretty broken Dean together, and they love each other. But when vampire!Dean pushed Ben into the wall, she told Dean to GTFO. So, I love her, I love the arc with them, and I hope they come back together if/when Dean gets his shit together. I also read a really sweet interview with Cindy, and she's pretty. So there's that.


2.
I don't use the icon a lot except it reminds me of an AU that lucyparavel and I were working on and may, ONE DAY, scrub off the serial numbers and do something with, because it is AWESOME: magic, merfolk, curses, murder, with a dollop of genocide.

This icon is actually a small part of a much larger and quite cool Annie Liebowitz photoshoot with Michael Phelps and Julianne Moore as merpeople for Vanity Fair a few years ago.

Stargate SG-1
haha. Dad/Selmak win every time. Sorry, Jack. I usually use it with Tok'ra related things, or when I think something's funny.

Hawaii 5-0
Daniel Dae Kim as Chin Ho Kelly. Walk softly, carry a big gun. And ride hot motorcycles hotly. And then tell adorable stories about how Grace Park calls your character Jin, even though she hasn't even seen Lost. &hearts


5.
True Blood
I use this as both a generic vampire icon (for all your vampire needs!) and because, BITE ME, is sometimes something you gotta say.

Apparently Reiko Aylesworth started it on 5-0, though at least she has an excuse having worked with him when he was Jin. But I guess at least they'll have plenty of material for the blooper reel!

Oooooh, I LOVE the mermaid themed one, and thank you for mentioning the photoshoot. I may have to hunt up pictures!

Also, that is an adorable DDK story! Hawaii 5-0 is so very...pretty. Verrrrry pretty, indeed.
