I'm attempting to fill out the polls for this week's semifinal round for the Tubey Awards at TWOP and sometimes it is SO hard to decide. Like "Most Wrongly Underused Character" -- there's a whole lot of under and/or wrongly used characters in that list-- but some who are under-used are not, IMO, wrongly, or vice-versa (like Michael in SPN -- was he 'wrongly' used? I'd say yes, but he shouldn't have been more used). Or Tara from True Blood - I think her plotline in S2 was mostly a poor waste of her talents, but I don't think she was UNDER-used, since she was around a lot. hm.

The Best Quote category gave me many giggles. VERONICA!

But it feels odd to be considering shows like Lost in categories like "Plotline most in need of ending" when the show's ENDED. Or Most Unwelcome New Character when the character's already dead. It just feels, I dunno, unnecessary.

In other non-news, Inception is coming. \o/

Yeah, the Tubeys are usually annoying like that. It frustrates me that "Peter" is the only episode of Fringe up, and also that the best HELL YEAH moment from that show is Peter and Olivia kissing. Neither of which are even CLOSE to the top of my lists!

And what's even more ridiculous is that I bet it was someone from DIFFERENT fan factions who did the nominating. Nobody EVER thinks their favorite is treated well over there.

they're fan nominations, so I find it kind of fascinating in a way since it draws from both hardcore and more casual fans in each fandom. But sometimes they really don't make much sense.

ah- Dean, that's a "wrongly used" nomination I'm sure. There are a lot of Dean fangirls who are angry about what happened in the last few eps. You see the same complaint in several other categories

I know. Had to give it to Better Off Ted in the comedy categories - both because it's brilliant and ... well, I don't watch any others anyway. :)
