eek. bsg_bigbang signups close tomorrow! I haven't signed up.

On one hand: Deadlines and goals are good and useful motivational devices, especially in summer.
On the other: Big Bangs have been somewhat disappointing experiences so far.
On the third: Art!
On the fourth: Posting in a giant unwieldy chunk.
On the fifth: I'm already signed up for vampirebigbang

(I am a starfish, obvsly. A starfish that can't make up its mind.)

I also made a banner for Determined Spirits, because I've been on a roll pretending to be an artist lately!

I already signed up, but I think I'm dropping out. The plotting just isn't coming together for me. I need time to really figure things out.

I can always do art, if you want art but don't want the bigbang experience.

oh, that's sad to hear that you're dropping out. But if it's not working, it's not, and I get that. :( (Mine isn't working for the simple reason I've been obsessed with the WRONG VERSIONS of Trucco! such horror, I tell you! :D)

aw, that's sweet of you to offer! All I've really wanted for it is, at the end, to have a pretty cover page for the novel as a whole (the three parts I've already done, plus the fourth part I'm working on). By someone who does better stuff than I do! The full thing's going to be over 100K and it seems sad to me that it doesn't have something like 'real' cover art for it. (which makes me sound weird, probably, but there you go)

I am almost tempted, I like having to work under a deadline it keeps my motivated but I'm not sure if my idea is ready or if I can actually do a fic that long.

yeah, exactly, I do find the deadline very motivating and that's the main draw for me. It's all the rest of it that's holding me back. :(

Hrm. If I dont' make it and now that above is dropping out, WE NEED YOU. Otherwise it'll be like Jamaica at the Winter Olympics and Merry'll be our sole banner carrier to the Big Bang! :D
