It's a New York state of mind...

I'm still finding it difficult to open links. It takes like three clicks to open anything, and sometimes it won't go at all. *frowns* FIREFOX YOU SUCK LATELY.

Meanwhile the crack AU from Crossover Epicland continues to smoke along. By the way, you know your brain is on crack when it really, REALLY is trying to figure out a way to stick Dana Walsh in there, too. What? She's in New York too and she has a SEKRIT LIFE. It would fit pretty well. But the story's epic enough without adding yet another crossover and I don't really have room for her in the plot. It's just amusing.

I was having a problem with links for a while, but it seems to have stopped now. Hopefully I did not just jinx myself.

*snerks* Heh, that sounds fantastically amusing...but yes, probably a little too much.

I hope it stops. It's really annoying.

I know, I know. *sigh* I already have two bonus crossovers, so I should just stop.

huh... I'm trying to figure out how to take up the slack. At least, with the cop show/drama side...

Dana and Tom, you mean? or her Boston show?

to be insanely predictable, Dana and Tom. Hrm. One-night stand? She gives evidence for a case he's working? hahah.

Maybe he wants video from CTU assets? She can be all "National security" stonewall. And he's like "two dead people and stolen property with your drone sitting right there."

Or, a cop and a fed walk into a bar... that would be shorter. heh.

Is the link problem only on LJ? Because there's a been a lot of noise made about how a recent code change (something they changed to try to make affiliated link money) has been making it so a lot of people can't click on links. I don't understand it at all, but I can probably track down the explanation posts I saw people linking to.

[identity profile] lizardbeth-j.livejournal.com 2010-04-28 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
no, it's happening more broadly for me, not just LJ. That's why I assumed it's a firefox/me issue. Though, come to think of it, it's worse here, I run into LJ-cuts that won't open and that's not a proper link at all. *grump*

How is it until you mentioned it I didn't notice this problem but since you have I can't not?

Micheal and Maria from Roswell would be awesome running one of the bars in my BSG/Firefly Verse but I think I have enough characters just from those two shows.

[identity profile] lizardbeth-j.livejournal.com 2010-04-28 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
heh. Sorry for pointing it out then, cuz it's annoying!

I'm not much of a Firefly person, but it IS tempting to GO CRAZY with the crossovers, once you have one, that's for sure. And then it totally spirals out of control into Land of Ridiculous Crack.Land!

Yeah I know I am also totally tempted to send Lee into the sun

[identity profile] lizardbeth-j.livejournal.com 2010-04-28 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
as a hybrid to take Sam's place, or just in general? LOL.

[identity profile] scifiaddict86.livejournal.com 2010-04-30 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
Oh just in general Lee is my least favourite character

Ahh, so it is Firefox. I thought it might just be my computer. I'm running an older version that doesn't seem to do that as much, but still does.

Yeah, it never happened to me before firefox's update a month ago, or so, and then it sort of fixed itself, and now it's back.. So that's why I blame them. But I guess from what's said above that LJ's latest code change might also be an issue. It's certainly worse for me on LJ..
