One cage match down... *phew*

Though it BROKE MY HEART to see Scully go down by so much, at least it has freed me from obsessively checking results and campaigning. Buffy doesn't need my help, and I don't care about the other race. So -- *closes tab*

That Lorelai/Bones race was EPIC. And trufax, I was campaigning for Lorelai because Lauren Graham told me my kid was cute once. In the aisle of Best Buy. yes, she bought me forever, just that easily!

But the [livejournal.com profile] twelvecolonies bracket game is getting HARD. Woe.

Veronica Mars beat Sue Sylvester, which makes me HUGELY HAPPY, but I really want her to beat Buffy too. I love Buffy...but, you know. :)

Also, I've been voting against Bones the whole way, but I really hate Sheldon Cooper. Who is totally going to win, obviously. But still.

That was kinda me, also. I love Buffy, too, but I was always more of a XF and Scully fan than BTVS. I've never seen VM, though I know she's a badass, too.

I don't watch either Bones or BBT, though I voted Brennan because at least Emily Deschanel is adorable.. And I hate laugh tracks with an unholy passion.

I voted Bones because I at least know the character + drama > comedy in my book. That and I really want to see a showdown between David Boreanaz's characters' love interests.

I thought Buffy was going to win against Scully, but I never thought it'd be by so much.

yeah, I figured Buffy would win, too. BTVS was a huge "gateway" fandom for a lot of people, and I would guess more people 'find' it these days because of Joss' other projects, where not too many pick up XF out of the blue anymore. So it makes sense. but still. MY BB GIRL SCULLY. :(

FMM has made me want to watch XF. But 9 seasons, it's daunting!

Scully beat Dean though (in round 2 even!) and that shall be remembered forever in the history of FMM.

pfft. Nine seasons isn't that much.

That's more than any other sci-fi shows, other than SG-1 (and DW, but that's kinda different). Plus finding D/Ls of all the eps would take a lot of time and it's annoying when you do it for more than a random ep. Maybe if I win at the lottery, I'll buy the DVDs. ;)

[identity profile] lizardbeth-j.livejournal.com 2010-03-10 10:13 pm (UTC)(link)
OH you should! Even random eps would at least give you a taste of it! I mean, you might hit some stinkers and there are a few which would be confusing because they depend on the arc, but most eps are pretty self contained, especially the first few seasons.

Mulder=believer in paranormal freaky shit
Scully=skeptic, but becomes more of a believer as she sees it

There, now you are all set. :)

Well, I already knew that. ;)

There would definitely be no harm in D/Ling a few eps to check it out. :)
