Notes for today

I couldn't get a lot done on the fic today, since I had to write the full synopsis in what time I had. *winces* Wow, trying to turn a hopefully interesting novel that depends on gradual emotional shifts into a couple of pages makes it sound really... lame.

I'd like to write up my Lost and Supernatural finale thoughts, but that'll have to wait. But there's not a whole lot on t.v. for me, now that those are done. :(

Dollhouse was renewed (albeit with both length and budget pruning). I'm hoping that doesn't mean SCC is out of contention. *crossing fingers*

Speaking of bots, we watched a show on the Urban Challenge, which is a competition for fully autonomous robotic cars. Most of them drive better than people around here (the rest of them go beserk, it was awesome).

Then I read the first two chapters of the Terminator Salvation novelization in the book store. hmm

I hope the Lakers get their ass kicked tomorrow. It's hard to root for the Rockets, but boy, am I sick of the Lakers. (yes, I live here; no, they're not my team. It's hard. *woe*)

When I lived in L.A., I had the same problem with the Lakers. There was a whole NBA Finals once where I was quietly rooting for the Indianapolis Pacers the whole time. I smiled and nodded my way through most conversations about it at work.
