OMG.

Wow. Talk about going there. This was T2.5. AWESOME, with awesmoesauce (and I LIKE T3, but this is the true sequel).

The fallout from that, how John's foster parents got butchered. Silverman realizing that Sarah was Right. Sarah being all wigged out about her memories of being in the hospital (Lena is really astonishing with her taking Sarah her own way, and yet still being recognizable as Linda!Sarah) *boggles*

Ellison, putting the pieces together.

Derek, still being a bit skeevy and suspicious. Yet now that he's awake, definitely being more normal and understandable. Asking about Kyle. (can he be that far from figuring it out? really?)

Cameron doing her creepy robot thing, but beautiful too. Summer dancing ballet!

And I am even MORE freaked out about what happened in the basement in the previous episode. Because what if that was OUR Cameron, dancing to the piano music. She'd have all these memories, and what if she continues forward and MAKES Skynet? *shivers*

Paraphrasing Sarah's v.o.: "and if the machines learn to do art, then they'd be us." And WE are not all that nice. yikes.

eta: Forgot, the name of this episode "The Demon Hand" is certainly an homage of Harlan Ellison's "Demon with a Glass Hand" episode from Outer Limits,which (apparently) inspired Terminator in the first place. so it's all a big circle...

Ellison! He really does have his game together. Should be interesting to see what happens if he does indeed remember that it was Sarah who pulled him out of that fire.

I loved the moment where Derek was out in the grass, just feeling it with his feet. He this look on his face that was both amazement and lost-little-boy.

Add to that the fact that we destroy each other all the time and you could safely say that the machines find their "humanity" and end up destroying the world in-spite of it...or maybe because of it.

He did see her apparently, although he may not understand she was actually there.

The Derek - Cameron breakfast thing was the funniest thing. I was just giggling the whole time; Sarah trying to be normal and Derek and Cameron playing along and yet totally NOT normal at all. Awkward!

But yeah, that moment when he's feeling the grass and looking out at the not-destroyed world was very well done. He was apparently born after Judgment Day (or wasn't the first time, before Sarah put it back *head explodes*), so he doesn't remember the world before.

There is such massive SCC/BSG crossover potential. If only I didn't have so many other things on my plate!

I want him to understand that she was there, that she risked her life to save him knowing full-well who he is and how much trouble he could cause the House of Connor. Him believing that he just imagined her there would be such a cop-out IMO.

OMG I will never look at pancakes the same way. lol

*scrapes up bits of grey matter* Oh the joys of time-travel. Careful not to get any of that on your rug, it will *never* come out.
