Requested fandoms

New fandoms someone added to [livejournal.com profile] yuletide, so far, of particular interest to me: some made of awesome, some are WTF?, and some are just *eyeroll*.... I leave it to you to decide which is which.

Avenue Q
Barbie universe
Boxing Helena
Covington Cross
Cube (obviously there because of some guy and his legions of fangirls; see also ...
A Dog's Breakfast
The Wolves of Willoughby Chase books
M&M commercials

And do we really need (at least) six different entries for versions of Robin Hood? None of them are exactly the same, but ... SIX?

Finally, because it does not get better than this:

THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE

I'm gonna have to offer to write that, just to find out what sick perversion someone wants to fic about...

(and speaking of sick and perveted, now I'm tempted to nominate Bob the Builder and see if I can get someone to write me Wendy/JJ. I mean, jeez, she "repairs his office copier" ALL DAY. So THAT's what they call it in Bobsville...)

I'm telling you, now that Emily is sleeping with all the engines in the newly renovated Tidmouth Sheds, things are going to get very interesting at the Sodor Railway.

And JJ's voice just calls for some cheesy romance.

Now, however, we're onto Fireman Sam, and that opens up a whole new set of possibilities.

*snerk* Emily is such a slut. And poor little Percy just looks at her blankly and blinks "huh?" when she comes on to him. She rolls her eyes and moves to Gordon, who's like the Captain of the Football team of the sheds... Yep, there's some scary fic possibilities there.

And JJ is totally the Mister Smooth of Bobsville. But alas, he's not in the Sunflower Valley segments anymore, so I think Wendy dropped him. :( But that's okay, since she and Margery have a "thing". *nods* Plus I have my suspicions about Farmer Pickles and Spud....

hee. Actually, Rugrat hasn't watched Thomas or Bob in months now. We've also moved on -- 'Max and Ruby' and Wonder Pets mostly. We've gone past the talking machines and gone to talking animals phase, I guess.

I saw one that had me cracking up. "The Weekenders" which, if I am right, means that little Disney cartoon with Tino, Lor, Carver and Tish. This amuses me beyond the telling.

Course, since I watch it so much when I'm babysitting, I'd probably actually read it. *is further amused*

I know! Somehow it's even more entertaining to be watching kids' shows and making up what's "really going on." I once had this whole soap opera slashy thing worked out for early Power Rangers back when I was babysitting. It kept me amused for weeks! And then something like yuletide just makes you want to read actual fic about it.
