I don't usually talk about music, since my tastes are pretty pedestrian, but I can't help it today. New favorite song? "Saints are coming" - U2 with Green Day. How could it not be awesome?

I was reading in

isiscolo and her latest analysis (with stats and everything) of reading habits on lj, websites, and recs. And it inspired me finally to check out del.icio.us. I'd heard about it, but never stirred myself to go look, mostly because I am a fandom turtle and go do eveything after it gets hot. And of course I tried to find out if anyone bookmarked me. I looked under "malek" and, hilariously, found Jonathon Malek, apparently a fairly well-known photographer. Perhaps a secret, Earth-based alias? hee.

And in writing news, I started my SG-rarepair ficathon story yesterday, (Elizabeth/Ronon, yummy), inspired somewhat by the con. Nothing like standing next to all 6'4" of Jason Momoa and empathizing with Weir feeling tiny by comparison...
