Facts about my new washer/dryer:

- they use less water and energy. which is good, of course, and why we bought them. (and also the others were old and gross)

- however, they have a CRAAAAAZY amount of options. This thing washes clothes, not flies jet fighters, but you wouldn't know it from the front panels.

- switching from top loading to front loading has also exposed that the floor is not as solid as it probably should be. So, if in a year's time, I write about the wash machine falling through my floor, you'll know it started here!

- I'm also crazy in love with the SONG IT PLAYS to tell you everything's done. It's so happy and bouncy! hee

Yeah, but did you and your husband sit down in front of it the first time you ran it to watch your clothes get clean? Hmm? :P

My littlest sits on the washer and watched the clothes spin. She loves it. :)

My requirement for a washer was that I wanted the biggest top loader available (the front loaders hurt my back as I'm tall enough to have to hunch over to use it).

My front loader has this seriously concave window (I think they all do?) that one of my cats likes to sit in sometimes. Weird cat.
