and yes, I was kind of startled to see so many people, well, just completely misunderstand the concept of mitochondrial Eve. She had to have babies with SOMEONE, after all, for it to work! I kind of like the idea that she had a kid with one of the natives, actually, because then that daughter would be a second generation hybrid, but that doesn't mean their child couldn't have married Caprica's grandson, or whatever.
